The BikeLand Project was launched in summer 2008 

in the Yaremche region. The basic idea is to create 

a network of bicycle routes of various lengths 

and difficulty. The project is actively expanding 

and we are creating the network of bicycle paths 

in new areas, particularly in Kosiv, Kolomyya, 

Hlyboka and Rakhiv. There are already marked 

routes in the Yaremche region (Yaremche, Dora, 

Vorokhta, Mykulychyn, Tatariv, Yablunytsia) Verkhovyna 

(Verkhovyna Kryvorivnya, Iltsi, Burkut) 

and the Kosiv raions. 

An important component of the project is lodging — 

hotels and guest houses equipped with facilities 

for bicyclists (bike washes, stands, garages, 

laundry equipment, a place for drying clothes, 

special breakfasts.) There are already 15 such 

lodging facilities in the Yaremche region. In other areas, 

we are competitively selecting hotels and guest 

houses to participate in the BikeLand Project.

Association BUSINESS TOURISM OF UKRAINE was founded 

in 2007. The Association combines Ukrainian companies
