2013 <strong>Pacific</strong> <strong>Energy</strong> <strong>Summit</strong>:<br />

Vancouver, <strong>Canada</strong> | April 2–4<br />

The 2013 <strong>Pacific</strong> <strong>Energy</strong> <strong>Summit</strong> convened in Vancouver,<br />

<strong>Canada</strong>, on April 2-4 to discuss market and policy solutions<br />

for “Forging Trans-<strong>Pacific</strong> Cooperation for a New <strong>Energy</strong><br />

Era.” In this interactive forum, delegates explored what is<br />

needed to realize the full potential for more integrated<br />

energy trade and investment between <strong>Asia</strong> and North<br />

America. Participants discussed broad shifts underway in<br />

world energy markets, the urgency <strong>of</strong> addressing climate<br />

change, and the role <strong>Asia</strong>–North America ties could play in<br />

boosting energy and environmental security. The 2013<br />
