APPLICATIONS<br />
<strong>Cofraplus</strong> <strong>60</strong> is an open rib trapezoidal and nestable composite<br />
floor deck used for the construction of concrete slabs.<br />
<strong>Cofraplus</strong> <strong>60</strong> avoids removal of formwork, reduces the dead<br />
weight of the floor and saves one layer of steel reinforcement.<br />
DEFINITIONS / STANDARDS<br />
Steel specification<br />
• Standard NF EN 10326 : “steel bands and sheets for construction<br />
with hot-dip coating”.<br />
• Standard XP P 34-301 : “steel bands and sheets for construction,<br />
galvanised pre-painted or coated with an organic calendereed<br />
construction industry grade film”.<br />
• Standard EN 10169-3 : “Flat products in steel continuously coated<br />
in organic material (pre-painted) - part 3 : product for interior<br />
applications in the construction industry”.<br />
• Steel : S350 GD in accordance with standard NF EN 10326.<br />
Formwork<br />
<strong>Cofraplus</strong> <strong>60</strong> serves as load-bearing formwork, between joists<br />
for laying without props, or between lines of props and joists.<br />
Its lightness faciliates the handling of large floor decks delivered<br />
up to a length of 15 metres.<br />
Steel reinforcement<br />
The lateral notching binds to the concrete to form a composite<br />
floor slab.<br />
As a steel reinforcement, <strong>Cofraplus</strong> <strong>60</strong>, in 0,75 mm thickness adds<br />
10,29 cm 2 /ml or 13,91 cm 2 /ml of steel with a thickness of 1,00 mm<br />
in the span direction of the floor.<br />

<strong>Cofraplus</strong> <strong>60</strong> is specially designed for structures with moderate<br />
live loads and medium spans.<br />
Flooring over crawlspaces must be accessible and ventilated.<br />

Three versions are available :<br />
• The standard version is called COFRAPLUS <strong>60</strong>.<br />
• The version specially adapted for use as a composite beam<br />
with Hilti or Nelson type conncetors fitted across the steel floor<br />
deck is called COFRAPLUS <strong>60</strong> : special fabrication on request.<br />

• COFRAPLUS <strong>60</strong> can be prepunched to enable welded studs to<br />
be fitted in the workshop.<br />

APPLIED LOADS<br />
The Technical Aproval of <strong>Cofraplus</strong> <strong>60</strong> takes account of the distributed, concentrated and linear loads.<br />
It is formulated for load intensities not exceeding the following limits :<br />
• static point load : < 20 kN<br />
• static linear load : ≤ 10 kN par lm<br />
• dynamic point load : < 15 kN<br />
and spaced at at least 1,20 m<br />
from each other.<br />
These limitations are applied in the absence of a complete check of the distribution of the loads.<br />
• moving loads for vehicles<br />
where the maximum load per<br />
axle does not exceed 30 kN.<br />
PERMISSIBLE SPANS L (cm) in the construction stage when fitting the standard version of <strong>Cofraplus</strong> <strong>60</strong><br />
• In the construction stage, <strong>Cofraplus</strong> <strong>60</strong> thickness 0,75 mm can withstand spans to limits L according to the table below which takes<br />
account of the deflection conditions L/240.<br />
