Each month, Walton Communities offers an
opportunity for residents to visit featured local
attractions and enjoy all the wonderful things Atlanta has
to offer – all at a great discount. Just visit in the month featured, turn your
ticket stubs in to your community office and we’ll reimburse 90% of the
ticket price for admission. For Walton Communities residents only.
In January, visit Atlanta’s High Museum. A walk through
the High Museum of Art’s permanent collection is a journey through time across continents.
Special exhibitions on display in January include GO WEST! ART OF THE
AMERICAN FRONTIER from the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. This exhibition
considers the evolving notion of the American West through more than 250 paintings,
sculpture, photographs and Native American artifacts dating from 1830 to 1930. Also
on display is THE ART OF THE LOUVRE’S TUILERIES GARDEN. This exhibition
brings Paris to Peachtree Street with picturesque boxed holly trees on the piazza, sculpture
drawn directly from the grounds of the Tuileries, impressionist paintings and a three screen
video of a stroll through the garden. Open Tuesday-Saturday, 10 am – 5 pm, Sunday noon-5pm.
Admission: Adults, $19.50, students and seniors 65+, $16.50, children 6-17, $12, children 5 and under

In February visit The World of Coca Cola, the only place where you
can experience the fascinating story of the world’s best-known beverage brand in a dynamic,
multi-media attraction and taste over 100 flavors from around the globe! On special
exhibition: AMERICAN ORIGINALS: NORMAN ROCKWELL AND COCA COLA.
The exhibit features examples of Rockwell’s Coca Cola work from original paintings to final
marketing pieces. Open daily 10 am – 5 pm (check website for hours – they can vary). Admission:
Adults 13-64, $!6, Seniors 65+, $14, Youth 3-12, $12, Toddlers 0-2 free with adult. Located at

A Very Merry Christmas!
Each year, all of our single parents that live
in our Walton communities are invited
to a special Christmas banquet in their
honor. They are served by the Walton team
and their family members and treated to
delicious food, wonderful music, amazing
speakers and lots and lots of prizes,
designed especially for the needs of single
parents charged with the difficult task of
raising children alone. This year’s event was
bigger and better than ever. Many thanks
to all those who made it possible! Enjoy the

Our Cultural Enrichment Program is more

variety of local attractions, plays, concerts

offerings of our Cultural Enrichment

just wanted to tell you what an amazing time
I had attending the Rockettes show! Thank
you so much for offering discounted tickets – I
absolutely adore live theatre (and most especially
have been a huge Rockettes fan for many
years!), but I never would have been able to go
for the market price, so this was a wonderful

Holiday Office Closing
Our office will be closed Wednesday,
January 1st, in observance of New Year’s
Day. Remember, if you have an emergency
maintenance request, you can report it
online or call our Community Office. The
on-call Maintenance Engineer will take care
of your emergency request promptly. Our

residents in need. To schedule your counseling
session, simply contact one of the counseling
partners listed below. Walton will pay
for up to four visits per family per year (with
a $10 per visit co-pay by the resident). Be
sure to tell them you are a Walton resident
when you set your appointment. All counseling
sessions are strictly confidential.

GED classes are being offered at our Walton
Crossing Adventure Center through a nonprofit
organization, Project Light. Classes
are held each Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00-

which works best for your schedule). The
cost is $15 per month and includes all materials.

Christmas Tree Removal
January 4th is the deadline for Christmas
tree removal. If you have a live Christmas
tree, contact your community office to
schedule a pickup. Please DO NOT place
your tree into the compactor.
