• In 1991 The Hazardous Materials Response<br />

Team was created<br />

• In 2000 The <strong>Special</strong> Operations Team was<br />

created which cross trained personnel in<br />

hazardous materials and technical rescue


<strong>Special</strong> Operations Team<br />

• In 2005 we received a state grant of $10,565<br />

for training and equipment<br />

• In 2005 we received a Federal <strong>Fire</strong> Act Grant<br />

of $52,451 for training<br />

• In 2006 we received a Federal <strong>Fire</strong> Act Grant<br />

of $21,318 for training (receive same training<br />

FEMA Teams receive)<br />

• Currently, we are a TYPE II, Light Rescue Team
