production process.
Definition of
production in rolling process:
The flat glass panes are passed beneath a grooved rubber roller, which transfers the enamel
colours (from frit and ceramic glass bodies as well as other materials) to the glass surface. This
ensures uniformly homogeneous colour distribution (as long as the glass surface is absolutely flat).
Applications
Uses: For large-scale, joint-free interior wall coatings (living areas, kitchens, bathrooms) as an
alternative to conventional wall surfaces such as tiling, etc.
Fixing systems (dependent on the suitability of the wall surface)
– Linear support version – with U-profiles
– Screwed version – with patented point mounting and dowel screws
– Bonded version – with specialised surface- compatible silicon

Typically, the grooved structure of the rollers can be seen up close (on the coloured side). Normally,
these ”grooves” can be seen, but this is not always the case with non-enamelled surfaces. Bear in
mind that with light colours, a medium (sealants, panel bonding, insulation, brackets, etc.) applied
directly to the rear side (coloured surface) can shine through.
Note: For product applications in transparent areas and where the surfaces can potentially also
be viewed from the rear, it is not necessarily appropriate to use the full-size enamelled product,
due to possible surface colour tolerances – for this purpose, we recommend
as a
flat/screen printed surface.
