Morning Address: Bill Blaziek is the General Manager of the El Paso Convention

and Visitors Bureau (CVB) since 2002. Prior to that he worked for Del Webb

Hotels International, Resorts International, Trump Hotels, and the Atlantic City Convention

Authority. He is the contract administrator of the Greater El Paso Strategic

Communications Task Force, which is a group of community and business leaders

whose primary goal is to enhance El Paso’s image. He will speak about theEl Paso.

It’s All Good.” community-pride movement and digital ambassador initiative.

Keynote Address: Veronica Escobar was sworn in as the El Paso County

Judge in 2011 and prior to that was the County Commissioner for Precinct 2. She

works actively on addressing issues related to Border policy, healthcare, government

consolidation, tourism, and economic development. She will speak about the

County’s main task to implement the policies of the state and work in partnership

with various entities where possible to better serve all El Paso County residents.

Neighborhood Council elections will be held for representatives of the Chair,

Northeast and Northwest. Association members in these respective areas are

encouraged to vote. Only one vote per neighborhood association will be

recorded for elections.
