This session will discuss some of the legal issues<br />
surrounding the use of electronic media for<br />
marketing purposes, including the use of cookies,<br />
re-direction problems, data protection and the<br />
provision of marketing and services using social<br />
media, which is growing rapidly in popularity.<br />
This seminar will also look at the responsibilities<br />
of the platform administrator and anyone who<br />
manages the content and transactions effected<br />
via these forms of media.<br />

From 1 October <strong>2011</strong> all construction contracts<br />
entered into will need to be reviewed to ensure<br />
that they comply with new amendments to the<br />
Construction Act. This seminar will take the form<br />
of an informal workshop and will examine the<br />
changes brought in by the new act, explore the<br />
potential implications for businesses and provide<br />
a chance for delegates to discuss those<br />
implications and to raise questions.<br />

seminar will consider these particular issues as<br />

the implications of recent court decisions and<br />
