This session will discuss some of the legal issues
surrounding the use of electronic media for
marketing purposes, including the use of cookies,
re-direction problems, data protection and the
provision of marketing and services using social
media, which is growing rapidly in popularity.
This seminar will also look at the responsibilities
of the platform administrator and anyone who
manages the content and transactions effected
via these forms of media.

From 1 October 2011 all construction contracts
entered into will need to be reviewed to ensure
that they comply with new amendments to the
Construction Act. This seminar will take the form
of an informal workshop and will examine the
changes brought in by the new act, explore the
potential implications for businesses and provide
a chance for delegates to discuss those
implications and to raise questions.

the introduction of new legislation. This seminar
will explore some of the key issues that should be
addressed by parties when negotiating and
drafting commercial contracts. It will also review
the implications of recent court decisions and
changes in the law.

issues which need careful consideration. This

highlights from the Dilnot Report), and the
essentials of making a Will and Lasting Powers of
Attorney.
