Southern New Hampshire University<br />
Presidential Scholarship<br />
A limited number of Presidential Scholarships may be offered<br />
to full-time undergraduate day students that have a minimum<br />
cumulative grade point average of a 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) in a<br />
strong college prep curriculum. The Presidential Scholarship<br />
is renewable based on the maintenance of a minimum 3.0<br />
cumulative grade point average. Failure to maintain the<br />
required GPA will result in the permanent loss of scholarship<br />
funds.<br />
Sibling Grant<br />
The Southern New Hampshire University Sibling Grant consists<br />
of a total of $2,500 annually for a family with two or<br />
more dependent undergraduate siblings concurrently attending<br />
for the full academic year in any of the full-time day programs.<br />
Amounts will generally be split between each sibling.<br />
Alumni Family Scholarship<br />
The Alumni Family Scholarship, in the amount of $1,000<br />
per year, is awarded to dependent children of alumni, including<br />
graduates of any associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree<br />
program at Southern New Hampshire University. The student<br />
must be enrolled in the full-time undergraduate day<br />
program.<br />
Future Business Leaders of America<br />
Scholarship (FBLA)<br />
Southern New Hampshire University awards one Future<br />
Business Leaders of America Scholarship in the amount of<br />
$1,000 each year to the student chosen by the State FBLA<br />
Group as the Southern New Hampshire University recipient.<br />
Applications are available to any freshman and are judged<br />
based on letters to the State FBLA Group.<br />
Southern New Hampshire University also awards up to 21<br />
scholarships of $1,000 each annually to students selected<br />
by the FBLA advisor of each FBLA chapter in the state of<br />
New Hampshire. Students may contact their FBLA advisor or<br />
the Southern New Hampshire University Office of Admission<br />
for information.<br />
DECA Scholarship<br />
Southern New Hampshire University awards one DECA<br />
Scholarship of $1,000 each year to the student chosen by the<br />
State DECA Group as the Southern New Hampshire<br />
University recipient. Applications are available to any freshman<br />
and are judged on the highest point total in the participatory,<br />
competency-based competition at the New<br />
Hampshire DECA Career Development Conference.<br />
Southern New Hampshire University also awards up to 21<br />
scholarships of $1,000 each annually to students selected<br />
by the DECA advisor of each DECA chapter in the state of<br />
New Hampshire. Students may contact their DECA advisor<br />
or the Southern New Hampshire University Office of<br />
Admission for information.<br />
Skills USA Scholarship<br />
Southern New Hampshire University awards a $1,000 Skills<br />
USA Scholarship to any new student who places first, second<br />
or third in a Skills USA state or national culinary arts competition<br />
at any time during high school. The award is renewable<br />
for each year of attendance at Southern New Hampshire<br />
University. Students must ensure that official notification of<br />
the Skills USA award is submitted to the Office of Admission.<br />
Notifications received after March 15 do not guarantee the<br />
scholarship for the following year.<br />
Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship<br />
An unlimited number of $2,000 scholarships are awarded to<br />
Phi Theta Kappa graduates of a two-year associate degree<br />
program who enroll as full-time undergraduate day students.<br />
This award is in addition to our transfer academic scholarships<br />
that range from $9,000-12,000 per year. Students must<br />
apply by May 15 for fall admission and November 15 for<br />
spring admission. A 3.0 cumulative grade-point average is<br />
required for the scholarship to be renewed. This scholarship<br />
may not be combined with non-Phi Theta Kappa scholarships.<br />
Failure to maintain the required GPA will result in the<br />
permanent loss of scholarship funds.<br />
Phi Theta Kappa graduates of <strong>SNHU</strong> associate degree programs<br />
are eligible for $1,000 Phi Theta Kappa scholarships<br />
when they continue their educations by entering into bachelor’s<br />
degree programs as full-time day students.<br />
Other Scholarship Opportunities<br />
Alpha Sigma Lambda Foundation Scholarship<br />
Any student may apply for the Foundation Scholarships. A<br />
student must have completed 30 semester hours with a grade<br />
point average of 3.4 for the Triangle Club: Second Century<br />
Scholarships, or a 3.2 for the General Foundations Scholarships<br />
on all work taken at <strong>SNHU</strong>. You must be 24 years of age<br />
or older, enrolled in a baccalaureate degree program, have a<br />
financial need for assistance to complete the degree and do<br />
not need to be a member of the local Alpha Sigma Lambda<br />
chapter to apply. Applications for the Triangle Club are due in<br />
March and the Non-Triangle Club in April. Check with<br />

Athletic Scholarship Program<br />
Athletic scholarships are available to outstanding athletes in<br />
men’s and women’s basketball, cross country, lacrosse, soccer,<br />
tennis, men’s baseball, women’s softball and women’s<br />
volleyball. Scholarship amounts vary. Information regarding<br />
these scholarships can be obtained by contacting the appropriate<br />
coach in the Southern New Hampshire University<br />
Athletic Department at 603.645.9604.<br />
Women’s Faculty Scholarship<br />
The Southern New Hampshire University Women’s Faculty<br />
Scholarship was created by the university’s women faculty<br />
to acknowledge and support Southern New Hampshire<br />
