Transitions and Underlayment...
BlueLinx offers several different True Match mouldings and trim
options in four popular mouldings, designed to fit any flooring need.
BlueLinx high quality underlayment serves as the
barrier between the flooring and the sub floor.
Its purpose includes providing cushion between
the floor and the sub floor, to muffle sound
(important for above ground installations) and
to block moisture from getting to the laminate
floor (especially important when installing over
a concrete sub floor).
T-Moulding
Reducer
Stair Nose
Quarter Round
T-Moulding - transition used to bridge the expansion between laminate
flooring or carpet of equal height.
Reducer - transition used to make the transition from the laminate
flooring height to a flooring system of lesser height such as vinyl or tile.
Overlap Stair Nose - transition for all applications to a lower level.
Used for installation of stairs.
Quarter Round - transition used to provide expansion area coverage at
the perimeter walls in those situations where the existing wall base will
remain in place.
