Financial hard times, reduced funding opportunities, and expanded competition only seem to bring out the best in the members of the Division. Take a minute to look over the list of publications, awards, and honors received by our colleagues during the last quarter and you will see exactly what I mean. Remember our 7 th annual “Advances in Inflammation Research Symposium” is coming up in September. We were capable, once again, of recruiting an outstanding faculty. Start thinking who would you like to meet during the “Meet the Professor” session. Have a great summer (if it ever gets here). ~ Jorge E.
