Letter from the board
In a world wrecked by a financial firestorm the last
few years, Love Without Boundaries stands strong.
It does so, in my view, because the sole focus of its
worldwide volunteer team is on bringing hope to
China’s orphaned and impoverished children.
At LWB, what you see is what you get – a fierce
“put the kids first” attitude that means, in every
single decision made by its leadership, the question
is never, “How will this look to those who watch
us” or, “What are other charitable organizations
saying to the world in order to attract money and
people” but, “Will this be the best use of time and
money for the children”
When genuine people do authentic work out of love
for children, the word spreads. We don’t rely on
full page ads, huge mass mailings, or gala events to
attract the attention of donors and volunteers. We
just work hard each day to bring real change to kids
in need.

have seen firsthand
both the
tremendous need for volunteers and funding for
China’s orphans. I have also seen the incredible
results of early intervention, adequate nutrition,
life-saving surgeries, and, most importantly, the
value of simple human kindness for children who
were once abandoned.
We know that LWB cannot impact the life of every
orphaned child, but I can tell you that when a child
in need comes to our attention, we will strongly
advocate, emails and calls will be made, and, if
there is any way possible, we will make that child’s
life better.
To our long-time friends, volunteers, and donors
we say, “Thank you.” Thank you for making it
possible to continue this work. To our new friends,
volunteers, and donors, we say, “Welcome and
thank you.” You have entered the world of a truly
amazing group of people.
Finally let me say that I am sure you have noticed
that in a continually transforming world, China
is changing as fast as any country. Change in any
form brings both challenges and opportunities.
We value your input, your ideas, and your
volunteerism. If you have a special talent or gift, or
if you find yourself being called to care for China’s
children, please let us know who you are. Together
we will continue to heal the sick and bring hope to
the orphaned.
