Students selecting the Special Education major will be required to take teacher certification courses. Passage of<br />

the requisite certification exams will earn the student an All-Level (EC-12) Special Education certificate.<br />

Smith College– Must include the following:<br />

CHRISTIANITY CHRI 1313, CHRI 1323 (+ 3 hrs. from either CHRI 2333, CHRI 2343, CHRI 9<br />

2353 or CHRI 2363)<br />

COMMUNICATIONS ENGL 1313*, ENGL 1323* 6<br />

MATH MATH 1305*, MATH 1313* or Higher Level Math* 3<br />
