Students majoring in mathematics must complete all of the following courses in addition to courses in one of the tracks that follow. They must also complete PHYS 2413 and 2423. Students who do not maintain a 2.75 GPA in the major after completing the 12 hours in mathematics required for a degree will be counseled by their advisor as to whether this major is appropriate for their academic strength area. Departmental honors are available in Mathematics.
