<strong>Brigade</strong> <strong>Group</strong> has established a Professorship/Fellowship in the Department of Civil Engineering,<br />
IIT Madras, for Education and Research in the areas of Project Management, Construction Engineering<br />
and Housing. It will be known as the Dr T. N. Subba Rao-<strong>Brigade</strong> <strong>Group</strong> Chair. The late Dr T. N. Subba<br />
Rao was an Independent Director of <strong>Brigade</strong> <strong>Group</strong>, and former CMD of Gammon India.<br />

celebration at the Taj Residency, Bangalore<br />
on 17 July. M.R. Jaishankar, CMD, <strong>Brigade</strong><br />
<strong>Group</strong>, was the Chief Guest for the evening.<br />
“The Sacred Flame”, a cultural programme<br />
by Nrityagram, was followed by cocktails and<br />
dinner.<br />
In his address, Arun Kumar, Director,<br />
Tandem, briefly chronicled Tandem’s growth,<br />
“At the start, we counted our progress in<br />
single digits: we had 1 client, 1 building<br />
and 6 people! ... We now have close to 50<br />
clients, manage about 5 million square feet<br />
of space and have a team of 600 people”.<br />
M.R. Jaishankar congratulated Tandem on its<br />
excellent growth and performance and wished<br />
them every success in the coming years.<br />
