Welcome to Retail’s Supply Chain
Conference – Logistics 2012.
With all the choices you have for
supply chain events, why choose
RILA’s Logistics 2012, the Retail
Supply Chain Conference?
The Logistics Conference is now in its
27th year, the longest running supply chain conference
that brings together top supply chain executives from
retail and consumer product companies. Conference
content encompasses ALL segments of retail, making it
the most valuable event in the industry.
Every year, our conference steering committee strives to
outdo the previous event. New this year, is the
Multichannel breakout session that will join our other
popular breakout tracks, including: International
Logistics & Sourcing, Transportation, Distribution, and
Supply Chain Management. Within these breakout
sessions, we have incorporated five, high-level focus
areas. Speakers have been encouraged to address issues
of Collaboration, Innovation, Emerging Technologies,
Strategy and Risk Management in their presentations
for an even more engaging and thought-provoking
session that resonate with the senior-level executives
that attend the conference.
Of course, key to the ongoing success of the event is the
interaction and give-and-take between participants and
presenters. In addition to our audience response system
that allows for anonymous participation in our general
sessions, three roundtable discussions – focusing on
International Logistics, Food Distribution and
Transportation – will once again provide lively dialogue
and valuable take-aways.
Our attendance this year is once again on a recordsetting
pace, but there’s still room for you. Register
today. Get your hotel room before it fills up. Then join us
for the most education-filled, networking-focused supply
chain conference you will find.
We hope to see you soon in Dallas,
Socialnomics: Word of Mouth Goes World of Mouth
Just like we no longer search for the news today, rather it finds us soon
we will no longer search for products and services. They will be pushed
our way through social media. As a result of this viral shift to the everinformed
consumer, the products and services that provide the best
value will ultimately win, rather than the companies that spend the
most on marketing. Erik Qualman, the best-selling author of
Socialnomics: How Social Media Transforms the Way We Live and Do
Business, explores why flourishing companies are acting like Dale
U.S. Infrastructure: Investments Needed to Remain Competitive
To keep America competitive, the supply chain must be a national
