Greg Brady, hotel manager has worked for Schwartz Family Co
since early 2002 initially as General Manager of the Holiday Inn
Sydney Airport, but transferring to become general manager of
the Mercure Sydney late last year.
Jenny Farrel is his bar & gaming manager for the group
and has made a huge impact with her involvement into the
(AHA) Australian Hotels Association. This has been both in
the financial membership of SFC hotels, and in working with
them on any hospitality community initiative. Jenny has also
got behind the AHA in many other ways to support the hotel
industry. The perfect example is the fabulously successful ‘Hotel
have Hearts’ industry fundraiser which raised nearly $400,000
at this year’s fundraising function.
Dr Jerry Schwartz has been a major contributor to the AHA ‘Hotels have Hearts’
Campaign over the last couple of years which raised money for the Matthew Talbot First
Step Appeal, while Jenny was instrumental in setting up and working tirelessly on the
committee from day one. Dr Schwartz has contributed over $ 100,000 to this event since
its inception - a very large part of the overall total raised.
Dr Schwartz’s generosity simply cannot be understated, his team use every possible
opportunity to positively promote the hotel industry.
