On Tuesday, March 22, the
Also on March 22, Peggy
Kelsey, of Austin, Texas, will
host a photography exhibit
6:30–8 p.m. Kelsey will also
talk about women’s issues in
Afghanistan. Kelsey is a professional
photographer, social
worker and teacher who was
inspired by the resilience she
saw in Afghan women during
her travels. She saw oppression
and decided to start both
Afghan and Iraqi women’s
projects. Kelsey’s prints will
be displayed in the Ludden
Library in February.
values as well as the traditions
that encumber women’s
in Mortenson’s books.
On Friday, March 25, a discussion
