303 The Bureau of <strong>the</strong> ASP, which assists <strong>the</strong> ASP in <strong>the</strong> discharge of its functi<strong>on</strong>s, is composed of a President, two Vice Presidents and<br />

18 members, elected by <strong>the</strong> ASP for three-year terms. The <strong>on</strong>ly members of <strong>the</strong> Bureau who are elected in <strong>the</strong>ir pers<strong>on</strong>al capacity<br />

are <strong>the</strong> President and two Vice-Presidents. The o<strong>the</strong>r 18 members of <strong>the</strong> Bureau are States and are represented by country<br />

304 On 26 July 2011, <strong>the</strong> Bureau of <strong>the</strong> Assembly of States Parties recommended that Tiina Intelmann (Est<strong>on</strong>ia) be elected as <strong>the</strong> new<br />

President of <strong>the</strong> ASP at <strong>the</strong> beginning of <strong>the</strong> tenth sessi<strong>on</strong> in New York from 12-21 December 2011.<br />
