Saturday, May 5th, 5:30-7:30 pm – POOL PARTY! – Everyone is invited to join us at the pool for music, 

food and fellowship with neighbors! Come cool off with us! Children are welcome, but must be accompanied 

by an adult. 

Saturday, May 19th, 12:00-2:00 pm – VENDOR DAY – Make your plans to join us in the parking lot 

by the courtyard to display your wares. Do you sell cosmetics? Are you crafty or artistic? Do you make 

jewelry? Are you a great baker? Whatever your talent or side business, this is a great opportunity to 

showcase what you do best and sell your wares to friends and neighbors. 

Saturday, June 16th, 8:00-10:30 pm – MOVIE ON THE LAWN – All your neighbors will be 

gathering on the Courtyard lawn to enjoy a community family movie together under the stars. 

We’ll also fire up the grills for food and fun! Don’t miss this! 

Friday, June 29th, 5:30-7:30 pm – ICE CREAM SOCIAL – Everyone loves a cool treat! Come on 

out and make your own sundae your way! We’ll have a variety of ice cream flavors and toppings for you 

to choose from. The location is to be determined, so watch your Community Events page on the Walton 

website for full details to come! 

PLAN AHEAD FOR SUMMER! Summer is the perfect time to throw 

away the schedule, kick back and relax a bit with your family and 

friends! We have some great activities coming up for you to enjoy this 

summer, so mark your calendar now and plan to be part of it all! 

Saturday, July 14th, 12:00-2:00 pm – WATER DAY! – Come join us at the Courtyard lawn for an 

af afternoon of fun water games for all ages! We’ll have plenty of good food and you can be a kid

COUNSELING 

If you or a member of your household is in need 

of counseling but don’t know where to start, 

we can help. Walton Communities partners 

with some local counseling centers to provide 

counseling services to our residents. The best 

part? Walton will pay for up to four visits per 

household per year (resident pays a $10 co-pay) 

when a resident visits with one of our counseling 

partners. All counseling sessions are strictly confidential. 

To set up your appointment, contact one

RENTERS’ INSURANCE 

Did you know that in the event of a fire or other 

catastrophic event, your personal belongings would 

not be covered by Walton’s insurance? Protect 

yourself by purchasing low-cost renters insurance. It 

covers not only your personal belongings, but also 

provides liability coverage for damage to the building 

or a neighbor’s property. Please contact your 

insurance agent or the community office for more 

information on obtaining renters insurance.

If you don’t already have your free MyWalton 

resident account on our website, be sure to sign 

up today. When special opportunities come our 

way, we share this information with residents via 

MyWalton. On this site, you can pay your rent 

online, view your payment history, track your 

payment status, notify us of service requests and 

much more. If you need information on establishing 

your free account with us, please contact 

your community office.

Book Parade 

and Five & Dime 

Book Sale! 

Saturday, May 5th, 11:00-1:00 at Walton Reserve Hey kids 

and parents! You are invited to join us for a Book Parade! We’ll meet at the 

Mail House and lead the parade of children (come dressed as your favorite 

book character if you wish) down Main Street. We’ll also be joined by some special guests. The 

parade will end at the Adventure Center, where we’ll be having a Five & Dime Book Sale. There 

will be books for all ages (children and adults) – all paperback books are just a nickel and all 

hardback books are just a dime. Bring a sack and fill it up with treasures to take home and read! 

We’ll end the day with a hot dog cookout on the playground behind the Adventure Center. 

Everyone is invited to come on out and share the fun! Join us for this very special kickoff to our 

summer reading program! See you there! Go all out and read!

Walton Lakes Pool Rules 

Please review pool policies with everyone in your household. Pool 

rules are necessary for the safety and enjoyment of all residents. 

Please note that there is no parking available at the Community 

Office while visiting the pool area. 

1. Pool hours: 10:00 am to 9:00 pm (Subject to change) 

2. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times when the 

Pool Monitor is not on duty. This includes babysitters or siblings, who also must 

be 16 years old to accompany children to the pool. 

3. Children under age 4 must have an adult in the water with them at all times. 

Children under age 12 must be accompanied by their parent at all times. Children 

12-15 must pass a swim test given by the Pool Monitor to swim when the 

Pool Monitor is on duty. 

4. The pool and pool areas are to be used exclusively by residents and their 

guests. Please limit guests to two per family. Resident must accompany guest. 

5. No animals allowed in pool area. 

6. No running on the pool deck. 

7. Radios allowed only with headsets. 

8. No glass containers allowed in pool area. 

9. Proper swimming attire required. 

10. No running, diving or horseplay. 

11. Alcoholic beverages prohibited. 

12. No smoking allowed in the pool. When smoking on the pool deck, please 

use ashtrays to properly dispose of cigarette butts. 

13. Residents and guests are asked to sign in with the Pool Monitor each day when 

first entering pool area. Pool ID card must be presented to enter the pool area. 

14. All infants and toddlers must be in special waterproof plastic pants for 

sanitary reasons. 

Failure to follow pool rules will result in: 

1. Verbal warning 

2. 10-minute time out. 

3. 20-minute time out. 

4. Pool restricting for the remainder of the day. 

5. After repeated notifications, child could be suspended from the pool for the 

remainder of the swim season.
