ATEUS ® - GSM GATEWAY
ATEUS ® - GSM GATEWAYs are designed for voice transmission between GSM networks
and the PSTN. This GSM Gateway cuts telephone costs considerably by providing a direct
PBX - GSM access. It enables PC - GSM data and SMS transmission and enhances the user
comfort with the I2CR Intelligent Incoming Call Routing service (Ring my telephone next time!).
Service providers can control ATEUS ® - GSM GATEWAYs via remote acces by GSM network.

Calls coming from the GSM network are processed
in the same way as calls coming from other
CO lines by the operator, etc. (PBX connection
through FXO), or routed automatically:
1. Using DISA: The calling party can select the extension
to be connected to (PBX service).
2. Intelligent Incoming Call Routing - enables to assign
the extension number to be called to known calling
numbers. Having detected the number, the GSM
Gateway makes an automatic DDI according to the
GSM Gateway program table.

Security alarm signal outputs of two different
equipment types can be connected to ATEUS ® - GSM
GATEWAY. In the case of a change of the logical state
of the output, the Gateway sends a pre-programmed
status message. In this way, the system helps:
- transmit security equipment signals easily where no
fixed line is available, etc.
- monitor power outages and other operating events
easily.

By default, ATEUS ® - GSM GATEWAYs are equipped
with two switches to turn electric circuits on and off. The
switching is controlled by pre-programmed SMSs. If the
gateway receives a SMS with password and command,
then the corresponding switch is activated.

The cheapest way to deliver a „telegram into pocket“ anywhere
in the world from your desk including receipt and answer option:
By connecting ATEUS ® - GSM GATEWAY to your PC and installing
the included software, you get a server for SMS receiving and
sending. The software supports both SMS writing, sending and/or
receiving, and SMS storing, contact database, etc.
ATEUS ® - GSM GATEWAYs are provided with an integrated
PC - GSM communication modem. It supports Internet connection.
ATEUS ® - GSM GATEWAY also supports fax transmission.
ATEUS ® - GSM GATEWAY transmits the calling number information
to the PC (or PBX) connected. The Software Call Center, installed in
the PC, displays this information on the operators‘ PC including the
name of the calling party.

GPRS
ATEUS ® - GSM gateways use GPRS module MC35, made by Siemens. GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) is a step
between GSM and 3G cellular networks. GPRS offers faster data transmission via a GSM network within a range
9.6 kbps to 115 kbps. This new technology makes it possible for users to make telephone calls and transmit data
at the same time. (For example, if you use ATEUS ® - GSM gateway using GPRS, you will be able to simultaneously
make calls and receive e-mail massages.) The main benefits of GPRS are that it reserves radio resources only when
there is data to send and it reduces reliance on traditional circuit-switched network elements.
With GPRS, an IP data transmission protocol, which is characteristic of computer networks, is being introduced to
GSM. IP is a data transmission protocol which is used in Internet.

MobilChange is a system that creates a link between the mobile phone network and your computer
network using SMS communication. MobilChange is directly equipped with a gate to e-mail systems
such as Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes or common
SMTP servers. These gates allow a direct connection
into your mailbox.
To make access into your mailbox easy you can use
the Mobile Connection for Outlook superstructure for
MobilChange . This application allows you to fully
work with your Microsoft Outlook from any place in
the world with no extreme costs. If you wish to make
the control of your mailbox perfect you can use the
Paegas SIM Toolkit application and you will be able
to control the mailbox using a comfort menu in your
mobile phone.
