The participation fee of $25.00 must be settled by Nets or Cash payment (non-refundable)
upon registration failing which your submission will be treated as null and void.
I declare that I am not a professional singer, music teacher, vocal trainer or have recorded any
album for commercial use.
I will abide by all the rules and regulations of the Karaoke Competition, including any
amendments, addition or deletion deemed necessary by the Karaoke Organising Committee.

RULES & REGULATIONS
1. This competition is open to all Chinese Swimming Club (CSC) Life/Ordinary/Associate/Social
Members and Guests aged 18 years and above who are in good standing.
2. The closing date for all entries shall be Thursday, 6 May 2010.
3. The competition will be cancelled if there are less than 20 participants registered by the closing date.
4. In the event of overwhelming response, participants will be required to compete in the qualifying
and final rounds.
5. The competition is open to solo participants only.
6. Professional singers, music teachers, recording artistes are not eligible for this competition.
7. A participant is permitted to sing only 1 song during each stage of the competition and the same
song cannot be repeated in the course of the competition.
8. Participants are required to bring their own VCD/DVD (Original Copy) and ensure it is in good
condition. The Karaoke Organising Committee shall not be held responsible for any problems
which may arise out of faulty VCD/DVD submitted during the competition.
9. Participants must be punctual and be present at the specified commencement time of the
competition. Late-comers will not be allowed to participate.
10. All participants shall undertake to abide by the Rules and Regulations of this competition.
11. The Karaoke Organising Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any entry at its sole discretion.
12. The criteria for the competition shall be as follows:
Voice Quality: 20 points, Tone: 15 points, Diction: 20 points, Rhythm: 15 points, Showmanship: 20 points,
Song Arrangement: 10 points.
13. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entertained.
14. The Karaoke Organising Committee reserves the right to disqualify any participant who breaches
any of the Rules and Regulations or in their opinion, brings disrepute to the competition.
15. The Karaoke Organising Committee and the Club will not be held responsible in the event of any
accidents, injuries, damages, out-of-pocket expenses or loss of life, during the course of or as a
result of the competition.
16. The Karaoke Organising Committee shall be the sole authority for the interpretation of these rules.
Its decision on any question of interpretation or any matter regarding the competition whether
implied or otherwise shall be final and binding.
17. The top three winners may be requested to represent the Club for future Inter-club competitions.

比 赛 条 规
1. 这 项 比 赛 开 放 给 所 有 年 满 18 岁 或 以 上 以 及 合 格 的 中 华 游 泳 会 (CSC) 永 久 / 普 通 / 准 会 员 / 社 交
会 员 和 来 宾 参 加 。
2. 报 名 截 止 日 期 在 2010 年 5 月 6 日 ( 星 期 四 )。
3. 参 赛 人 数 只 有 达 到 最 少 20 人 在 截 止 日 期 之 前 报 名 , 比 赛 才 会 举 行 。
4. 如 果 反 应 过 渡 热 烈 , 由 评 选 团 甄 选 的 参 赛 者 才 有 资 格 参 加 决 赛 。
5. 每 人 只 限 参 赛 独 唱 。
6. 专 业 歌 手 , 音 乐 教 师 以 及 录 制 艺 人 都 不 能 参 赛 。
7. 参 赛 者 在 比 赛 的 每 一 个 阶 段 只 需 唱 一 首 歌 。 在 整 个 比 赛 的 不 同 阶 段 , 参 赛 者 不 得 重 复 同 一 首 歌 。
8. 参 赛 者 必 须 携 带 自 己 的 VCD/DVD 光 碟 ( 原 件 ) 而 确 保 光 碟 是 完 好 无 损 的 。 卡 拉 OK 主 办 委 员 会
对 比 赛 期 间 可 能 遭 受 损 坏 而 出 现 问 题 的 VCD/DVD 光 碟 , 一 概 恕 不 负 责 。
9. 参 赛 者 必 须 在 公 告 的 开 赛 时 间 准 时 到 场 ; 迟 到 者 将 不 准 参 赛 。
10. 所 有 参 赛 者 应 承 诺 遵 守 这 次 比 赛 的 条 规 。
11. 卡 拉 OK 主 办 委 员 会 有 权 自 行 决 定 接 受 或 拒 绝 任 何 人 的 参 赛 。
12. 遴 选 准 则 为 :
音 质 20 分 、 音 调 15 分 、 咬 字 20 分 、 节 奏 15 分 、 台 风 20 分 、 歌 曲 处 理 10 分 。
13. 评 判 在 比 赛 期 间 的 决 定 将 是 最 后 的 , 不 得 提 出 异 议 , 任 何 来 信 恕 不 受 理 。
14. 卡 拉 OK 主 办 委 员 会 有 权 取 消 任 何 违 反 比 赛 条 规 或 败 坏 比 赛 名 声 的 参 赛 者 的 参 赛 资 格 。
15. 卡 拉 OK 主 办 委 员 会 对 比 赛 期 间 或 由 于 比 赛 结 果 引 起 的 任 何 意 外 、 损 伤 、 损 害 赔 偿 、 个 人 开
支 或 生 命 损 失 , 一 概 恕 不 负 责 。
16. 卡 拉 OK 主 办 委 员 会 应 该 是 有 权 对 这 些 条 规 作 出 解 释 的 唯 一 当 局 ; 对 解 释 条 规 的 任 何 疑 问 或
有 关 这 些 条 规 没 有 规 定 的 比 赛 事 项 , 卡 拉 OK 主 办 委 员 会 的 决 定 应 是 最 后 和 有 约 束 性 的 。
17. 首 三 名 优 胜 者 可 能 必 须 代 表 本 会 参 加 未 来 的 会 际 赛 。
