The replacement of splitted silentblocs so far was a big
problem for the mechanic, as they are difficult to remove and,
moreover, have to be re-assembled under severe pretensioning
conditions.
The KLANN extractor for truck silentblocs KL-1010-... Series
allows, together with the hydraulic pump KL-0215-35 M25,
KL-0215-36 M25 or KL-0215-37 M25 (hose, coupling, adapter
and manometer included), a quick, clean and safe extraction
and replacement of splitted silentblocs on e.g. stabilizers,
thrust rods, leaf spring eyes, spring supports and further axis
suspension components.
Silentbloc extraction and replacement can be carried out at the
work bench or on the vehicle, if room conditions allow it.
The extractors combinable with the tried and tested KLANN
modular assembly system consist of a set of sleeves of the
required Ø and relative drive set. A great advantage of this
system is that for further Ø or application ranges a small
number of new components is necessary.

Application example / procedure:
1. Verify bore-Ø and choose tool from the table.
(see page 11.4-13).
2. Silentbloc extraction:
Position the extractor as shown in Fig. 2 and extract
the silentbloc by operating the hydraulic pump.
3. Silentbloc insertion
� new silentbloc pre-tensioning:
Position the extractor as shown in Fig. 3 and settle the
new silent-type bearing in the conical sleeve. The
silentbloc is pre-tensioned on the sleeve inside cone.
The sprung thrust plate guarantees a suitable support
during the whole process.
4. Silentbloc insertion:
Position the extractor as shown in Fig. 4 and settle the
pre-tensioned silentbloc in the bore.
