Do I need my ID
YES! Bring your CWRU ID or a government-issued picture ID. To receive
your diploma you MUST present a photo ID!
Do I receive my actual diploma at the diploma ceremony
During the ceremony, you will receive an empty diploma sleeve. After
the ceremony, please go to the Dively Building, where you will receive
your actual diploma—provided that you have no outstanding balance
or incomplete grade. These must be reconciled before you may
receive your diploma.
What happens to my diploma if I don’t attend
Diplomas are available for pickup at the Weatherhead Office of
Graduate Student Services until May 25. On May 29, remaining
diplomas will be mailed to the address provided to the school on your
application for graduation.
Can I take photos at the ceremonies
A photographer will take a photo of each graduate receiving his or
her diploma. Graduates will receive an email link to a proof within 14
days after commencement, along with information on purchasing
prints. Therefore, family and friends are encouraged to simply
enjoy the ceremony. The university-wide convocation in the Veale
Center will be available via live streaming video. See case.edu/
