our people’s commitment, initiative and dedication<br />
to solving our customer’s problems are factors<br />
that have made <strong>Haldex</strong> the successful company it<br />
is today. therefore, creating and maintaining attractive<br />
workplaces where our employees can thrive and<br />
develop is our utmost priority.<br />
In order to retain our present talent, and to<br />
attract new, talented employees, <strong>Haldex</strong> is working<br />
systematically with a people Management Strategy.<br />
the goal of <strong>Haldex</strong>’ people Management Strategy is<br />
clearly summarized in the following statement:<br />

will create a world class performance organization,<br />
continuously striving for operational excellence.“<br />
Focus areas<br />
to reach the goals defined in the people Management<br />
Strategy, <strong>Haldex</strong> has decided to focus on the<br />
following areas:<br />

Increasing the competence levels of our people<br />
will enable the organization to continually be<br />
innovative, improve, learn, and ultimately establish<br />
a clear advantage over the competition.<br />
• Management and leadership capabilities<br />
developing our ability to lead and manage people<br />
and the organization will provide good leadership<br />
when needed, adapted to the situation, and lead<br />
to enhanced operational excellence.<br />
• <strong>Haldex</strong> culture<br />
developing a strong corporate culture and<br />
encouraging performance and accountability will<br />
create the prerequisites for continued improved<br />
performance.<br />
<strong>Haldex</strong> believes that by focusing our efforts on the<br />
areas above, the company will inspire commitment,<br />
performance and responsibility-taking, among all<br />
our employees.<br />
Social responsibility<br />
<strong>Haldex</strong>’ social policy is an integral part of our procedures<br />
and programs. For example, it is included<br />
as part of the introduction to all new employees.<br />
It is also integrated into the company’s purchasing<br />
manual. the social policy is based on the un’s<br />
universal declaration on Human Rights, the un<br />
Global Compact initiative, the International labor<br />
organization’s basic principles on labor law and the<br />
oeCd’s guidelines for multinational companies.<br />
the purpose of the social policy is to establish<br />
internal awareness and make an external statement<br />
about how serious <strong>Haldex</strong> is in guarding the<br />
individual’s interests in areas as human rights, child<br />
labor, business ethics and health and safety. In all<br />
communities <strong>Haldex</strong> operates, we shall help improve<br />
the economic, environmental and social conditions<br />
through an open dialogue with relevant interest<br />
groups.
