TN 044 – <strong>Installing</strong> <strong>and</strong> configuring <strong>the</strong> <strong>Intel</strong> <strong>Internal</strong> Raid Controller<br />

• Repeat steps 8 to 13 for all <strong>the</strong> remaining Database hard-drives; local <strong>and</strong><br />

external (Raids).<br />

Verifying that <strong>the</strong> configuration was properly set:<br />

• Press <strong>the</strong> "start" button.<br />

• Choose <strong>the</strong> "run" option from <strong>the</strong> start menu. See pic 5.<br />

• The Comm<strong>and</strong> window will be opened.<br />

• Enter <strong>the</strong> following comm<strong>and</strong> "fsutil fsinfo ntfsinfo E:" <strong>and</strong> press <strong>the</strong><br />

"enter" key. See pic 6.<br />

• See that <strong>the</strong> "Bytes Per Cluster:" In your HDD matches <strong>the</strong> highlighted<br />

raw in <strong>the</strong> example above (65536).<br />

• Repeat steps 4&5 for all o<strong>the</strong>r DB drives that have been formatted; each<br />

time enter <strong>the</strong> "fsutil fsinfo ntfsinfo" with <strong>the</strong> correct Database Drive letter.<br />
