A Modular, Lightweight,
Wearable Controller for UAS,
USVs, UGVs, UUVs
and Sensor Networks
ONE CONTROLLER, INFINITE POSSIBILITIES
Tactical Robotic Controller (TRC)
A rugged, lightweight, portable controller that can command
a wide variety of UAS, USVs, UGVs, UUVs and UGSs. The TRC
is a force multiplier that can be quickly transformed from a
wearable system to a vehicle-mounted system in seconds.
TRC Advantages:
• Simple Design: processor core module, hand controller
module, radio communications module
• Modular: easily adaptable to meet varying customers’
missions and needs
• Lightweight: 50-60 percent lighter than other
controllers on the market
• Easily Configurable: permits rapid integration of
varying industry control software architectures for a
wide range of unmanned systems
• Increases Situational Awareness: provides the small
unit leader with information from multiple sensors while
enabling horizontal sharing of data across the unit
Core Module
Why use TRC
• Battle proven, powerful and rugged
• Lightweight and small
• Versatile and interoperable with
other unmanned industry systems
• Direct replacement for wide range
of existing controllers
Hand Controller Module
Rapid Control
The operator simply attaches a radio
communications module to the TRC,
launches the appropriate software
application and begins controlling
the asset.
Combat Proven
TRCs are in combat today with the
U.S. Army, controlling the Minotaur and
Armadillo robotic mine roller systems.
