<strong>Objective</strong>:<br />
<strong>The</strong> <strong>primary</strong> objective of this role is to generate and present metrics in support of company initiatives to<br />
key stakeholders within the organization.<br />
Scope:<br />
<strong>The</strong> <strong>Sales</strong> <strong>Planning</strong> <strong>Analyst</strong> works within established guidelines and procedures to achieve the above<br />
objective for specific product divisions as assigned, and contributes to department projects and<br />
processes in support of company goals.<br />

Manager, <strong>Sales</strong> <strong>Planning</strong><br />
Works closely with: Field <strong>Sales</strong>, IT, Marketing, Supply Chain, Product Management, Customer<br />
Support<br />
Primary Responsibilities:<br />
Partner with division leads in creation of annual sales plans for assigned categories that are<br />
based on historical trends and current initiatives.<br />
Evaluate performance against plan and prior year and create metrics that improves<br />
understanding of business for better decision making.<br />
Responsible for identifying any fluctuations between sales plans and actual trends and<br />
communicating accordingly.<br />
Work with divisional leads to improve profitability of divisions, including an active role in the<br />
annual review of price increases.<br />
Drive operational improvement and problem identification by participating in S&OP process by<br />
analyzing customer forecasts vs. plan/actuals. Provide recommendations for course of action to<br />
improve forecast accuracy.<br />
Participate in promotion planning meetings with Marketing and <strong>Sales</strong> to ensure marketing plans<br />
are in support of sales initiatives and in line with pricing guidelines.<br />
Conduct impact analysis of initiatives and promotions.<br />
Partner with Customer Support, Finance and IT as it relates to Customer Master, Material<br />
Master, Standard Costing, and Pricing to ensure integrity of data and its alignment with<br />
reporting needs.<br />
Other duties as necessary to contribute to the department/company accomplishing its<br />
objectives.<br />
Utilize sell-through to improve forecast accuracy and with budget planning.<br />
Desired Skills/Experience:<br />
BS Degree
5+ years of related experience, Consumer Packaged Goods experience strongly preferred<br />
Advanced Excel and MS Office<br />
Excellent time management skills and ability to juggle competing priorities<br />
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within team environment<br />
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills<br />
Ability to communicate with logic, conciseness and relevance<br />
SAP experience a plus<br />
Ability to attend Trade shows/Customer meetings (
