Summary:

SACs work with the Assistant Director of Student Services and the CTX Student Life team to plan and

execute co-curricular activities that support and enhance a sense of community and pride at Concordia

University Texas (CTX). Operating within an assigned budget, SACs work with a team to develop plans

for various events, from start to finish, along a predetermined timeline. SACs serve as a role model for

all students in character, involvement, and service.

Details:

∙ Reports to the Assistant Director of Student Services

∙ Collaborates with other student coordinators, Residential Life Staff, and various depts. on campus

∙ Develops budgets and marketing plans for various events and programs

∙ Maintains detailed records of expenditures, supplies, communication efforts, etc.

∙ Conducts evaluations of all events

∙ Limited to 19 hours of work per week during the regular semester

Requirements:

∙ Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA

∙ Must maintain good disciplinary standing

∙ Position is priority #1 after academics and (in select cases) athletics

∙ Must attend weekly team meetings and make them a priority

∙ Required to attend all office-sponsored events not in conflict with classes

∙ Must be available the week before and after classes each semester
