Double guide rollers
Retrofit package for rapier and
air-jet label weaving machines
Double guide rollers
Concept
Label weaving machines with a single guide roller
are subject to the danger of fabric slippage (contraction,
weave variations, etc.). Accordingly, operating
personnel must supervise the cutting process continually,
as in the case of a fabric slippage, the cutting
units must be readjusted immediately.
The installation of double guide rollers deals with
this problem and fabric running is stabilised to a
considerable degree.
Main features
– Fabric guidance via a second guide roller with a
corundum covering
– Double guidance of the fabric, both before and
after the cutting position
– Suitable for all types of cutting knife
Advantages
– Improved fabric guidance in the cutting area
– Increased weft density possible due to reduced
shrinkage
– Resetting of the knife blade reduced to a
minimum
– No lateral fabric draft in the cutting area
– Cutting of both edges of uniform high quality
– Far less waste due to optimum cutting
– Simple installation with the help of detailed
instructions
