Planning
A perfect beginner’s project, this quilt is so quick and
easy to make it comes together in just one day. Beautiful
as a wall hanging or throw, it adds the perfect warm
touch to your autumn décor.
When cutting the center panel, center the sunflower
panel carefully. You should have approximately 1/2" of
light brown on the edge of each side, and 1/4" or less
of light brown on the top and bottom edges.

Making and Assembling the Quilt
1. Referring to Diagram A, stitch together 1 green confetti 2-1/2" x 4-1/2"
rectangle and 1 gold texture 2-1/2" x 4-1/2" rectangle to make pieced square.
Make 34 total. If you wish to exactly duplicate quilt, look closely at Quilt
Diagram and photo when pairing rectangles for pieced squares (and when
making pieced border in Step 3).

2. Note: Refer to Quilt Diagram throughout quilt assembly. Sew 1" x 27-1/2"
brown confetti strips to sides of sunflower panel. Stitch 24-1/2" brown confetti
strips to top and bottom. Sew black texture 28-1/2" strips to sides. Stitch
remaining black texture 28-1/2" strips to top and bottom.
3. Sew 8 pieced squares together, alternating orientation as shown, to make side
pieced border strip. Make 2 and stitch to sides. Stitch 9 pieced squares together,
alternating orientation as shown, to make top/bottom pieced border strip.
Make 2 and sew to top and bottom.
4. Sew black texture 40-1/2" strips to sides. Stitch remaining black texture
40-1/2" strips to top and bottom. Stitch black autumn leaves print 44-1/2" strips
to sides. Stitch black autumn leaves print 48-1/2" strips to top and bottom.
5. Sew orange/gold stripe 52-1/2" strips to sides. Stitch remaining orange/gold
52-1/2" strips to top and bottom.
Finishing the Quilt
6. Layer quilt with batting and rust/orange bubbles print backing. Quilt as
desired. Bind with dark orange confetti print to finish quilt.
