About munichaupair

Munichaupair was established in 2001 and is situated

in the heart of beautiful Munich.

The city has a high standard of living, a low crime

rate, it offers a lot of culture, leisure activities, a

beautiful landscape – and of course the famous

Oktoberfest. Its charme and almost Mediterranean

lifestyle can be experienced in one of the many

street cafés, beer gardens or while relaxing in the

English Garden. Two of the best universities in

Europe are situated in Munich as well as TV production

companies and some of the world´s most

important high tech companies.

90% of our families live in or around Munich. This

enables us to have close contact with families and

au pairs and give them a high level of support.

We help with visa formalities, when there is a problem

with the family or if the au pair just needs

someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on.

Upon arrival au pairs receive a welcome package

with important information about Munich and

Germany, language schools, contact numbers

of other au pairs, an “Au pair Passport” with all

relevant phone numbers as well as an emergency

contact number.

We offer regular meetings for au pairs in Munich

and cooperate with a travel company who organizes

trips to Paris, Rome, Berlin and other destinations

for au pairs.
