traditionally-masculine person wearing a
dress be considered a joke while feminine
people wearing suits is seen as “revolutionary”
and “powerful” Why should feminimity be
shamed in order for masculinity to flourish
There is too much potential in this
world to be lost by limiting ourselves to
outdated man-made dogma. Fashion is art that
should be accesible to everyone, not just the
Western elite.
I believe if we want fashion and
self-expression to become a force of
empowerment and unity, we all need to
unlearn the biases of the past and embrace the
vast opportunity of the future. This includes
not assuming people’s gender based on their
fashion choices and uplifiting others instead of
tearing them down.
