Conditions of entry
I declare that I am medically fit, and understand this is a walk
and not a race. I will comply with the instructions of the Event
Organisers, and understand that I am entering entirely at my
own risk. The Organisers of the Event (and their employees
& volunteers) will not be liable for any injury, accident or loss.

We will need masses of volunteers
If walking isn’t for you, how about coming along and being
a part of the team helping at the event – supporting the walkers
and the Hospice. The event will be a fantastic fundraiser and
hugely enjoyable. The atmosphere will be electric. We will need
help with registration, stewarding, administration, marshalling,
support vehicles – plus various other jobs that may spring up
on the night.
We can’t do it without your help!

Be part of our Hospice Shop Drop
We would like to encourage our Midnight Walk participants
to support the work of our 16 Hospice Shops and would ask
you to have a clear-out prior to the event and bring with you Join the fun and help
on the night, a bag with your unwanted good quality items.
We will have a drop off area by our registration point at the support Glasgow’s Hospice
Riverside Museum to leave your donated items. Each bag could
be worth up to £30 to the Hospice and your support is invaluable
to our shops and helps us continue to fund the care we provide.

Be a part of something special…
....and join us for Glasgow’s Hospice Midnight Walk 2013
sponsored by Brookfield Multiplex. All you have to do is
choose whether you would like to walk 5k or 10k. Walking
at midnight we want you to dress as brightly as you can,
even wearing your PJ’s!
The walk will start at the Riverside Museum taking you over
some of Glasgow’s most famous bridges and in front of
The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice (10k route).
You will have a fabulous time whilst raising much
needed funds.
Going that extra mile for
Glasgow’s Hospice
The sponsorship money that you will raise by taking part will
enable the Hospice to help terminally ill patients face their
own personal challenges and make the most of the time
they have remaining.
Each year our highly trained staff and dedicated volunteers
bring comfort, dignity and peace of mind to over a thousand
patients in Glasgow and support to their family and carers too.
Your help is all the more important as we develop plans for a
new Hospice in Glasgow. As well as enhancing existing adult
services, this will allow us to develop a much needed service
specifically for young people aged 15 and over.

Please use one form per person, ensure that all sections are
complete and return the form with your registration fee of £20
to The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, 71 Carlton Place,
Glasgow G5 9TD. We have not set a minimum sponsorship
target but please raise as much as you can. All we ask is that
you forward all funds raised to us by 5th July 2013.
Following registration, participants will receive sponsorship
forms and fundraising advice and support. If you register
online, this will be available as a download once you have
completed the registration process. At the event participants
will receive a t-shirt and medal.
You can register online and at the Hospice until Friday
17th May 2013. Please note that the £20 registration fee is
non-refundable.
Ideally participants will be 12 and over. Anyone aged 16 and
under must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Please be prepared for all changes in the Scottish weather!
