This document does not imply a contract. The colours used in this folder show the natural tint of our clay roof tiles subject to the limitations of the printing process.
As clay roof tiles are natural materials, slight variations in colour may occur between batches of tiles. We recommend that they should be taken from several pallets
at the same time and mixed at random on the roof. Wienerberger reserves the right to alter the range and the technical data. Dimensions are approximate.

Victorian and Victorian
Braised Blue Tile 451
Clay pantiles with a reclaimed appearance supported
by modern technology for renovation and new build projects
The patina of antique tiles
The authentic weathered look of the pressed Old Hollow 451 clay pantiles
results from the specialist treatment of tiles. This produces the typical patina
of centuries-old roof tiles. The subtle interplay of the different shades and
effects gives every building its own character. There are two versions to
choose from: Victorian, on a red base tile and Victorian Braised Blue, on a
blue to grey base tile. However, they are at their very best when the two
versions are mixed. The exact composition of the mix is of course, a matter
of individual taste.
Victorian tile 451:
The complete, economical and safe alternative
to old reclaimed clay pantiles
• 30-year frost resistance guarantee, unheard of with reclaimed clay
pantiles.
• Perfectly matched appearance for accessories, difficult with reclaimed
clay pantiles.
• Total size control and nail hole positions ensure a completely watertight
roofing layer, difficult with reclaimed clay pantiles.
• Old Hollow 451 pantiles with guaranteed quality, uniformity of size and
shape, and a full range of matching accessories.
Victorian Braised Blue pantile
When clay roof tiles are braised, oxygen is removed during the firing
process. This gives the tiles a typical bluish grey colour, which penetrates
deep into the clay. The shades of the old hollow tiles are blended from a
subtle collection of grey, black with lighter weathered patches.
Victorian pantile
These tiles are multi-coloured, ranging from bright natural red with grey to
black with lighter weathered patches on their surface.
