GLASS DECORATIVE TECHNICS DBI CRISTALDESIGN ACIDS BY DBI CRISTALDESIGN (formerly called “Satinovo Design”) is an etching technique (special acid) that enhances the decorative value of industrial plain acid etched glass. Description CRISTALDESIGN is a treatment where a design of your choice is etched on industrial plain acid etched glass. The parts that are etched by DBI become more transparent than the frosted base, providing a contrast between the two shades. Use CRISTALDESIGN enables personalized creation of soft, private and elegant atmospheres in residential or professional areas at a lower price. It can be used in many ways: • doors, windows and partitions; • wall coverings; • shower enclosures; • furniture, worktops, table or desk tops, closet doors. Privacy, beauty and light Satin glass in 2 shades without clear etch, CRISTALDESIGN ensures diffused light while maintaining privacy. Easy maintenance Maintenance is the same as for industrial plain acid etched glass. Glass media CRISTALDESIGN can only be applied to industrial plain acid etched glass. Dimensions and thicknesses Maximum dimension and thickness are the same as those of the glass on which it is applied. Transformation CRISTALDESIGN can be applied either on glass that has already been shaped, tempered, laminated, assembled in double windowpanes (acid etching on side 1 or 4). It can also be applied on glass before shaping, tempering, laminating (satin side should not be in contact with PVB), assembling in double windowpanes (satin side on side 1 is not recommended), silvering, curving.
