emoved from the carcass – is equal to a T-bone steak purchased from
the grocery store Or how can chicken by-product meal alone – heads,
feet and intestines – be equal to fresh, whole, store-bought chicken
This is not to say by-products or discards from human food processing,
correctly chosen, may not be nutritious, even highly so. Wild canines
and felines will eat the viscera of prey (by-products) as the first preference.*
your pet accordingly (see The Optimal Health Program, pages 195-208)
and not be misled by the “human grade” ingredient pet food marketing game.
