2010 Summer Art Classes & Camps
schedule of classes
SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE! Walter Hook Art Scholarships now available for Bonner students.
In 2006, Friends of Two Rivers, a local Bonner area citizens’
organization, first suggested the idea of Hooked on Art to
honor the legacy of Walter Hook who grew up in Milltown and
graduated from Bonner School. Bonner School and the Missoula
Art Museum enthusiastically embraced the idea. The Saturday
before Valentine’s Day was chosen as the traditional Hooked on
Art festival day.
In honor of this year’s 5th Annual Hooked on Art, in addition to the
traditional art offerings, Friends of Two Rivers received generous
donations to provide Walter Hook Art Scholarships for students
selected by Bonner School to study at MAM’s summer and after
school art programs. Thanks to the following organizations and
individuals for their support: Irestone Web Design, Lean Healthcare
West, Matson’s Lab, River City Grill, Dr. Terry and Mary Zahn, Warren
Hampton, Oz Architects, Friends of Two Rivers, and Bonner School.
Interested Bonner students and parents should contact Erin
Roberts, art teacher at Bonner school, 258-6151. For students
outside the Bonner area, there are scholarships available for you
too! Inquire with Renée Taaffe, MAM Education Curator by calling
