COTA’s route #21 Night Owl is a way to travel to

and from the Short North/Arena District in the

evening. It operates along High Street from

Whetstone Park to the Short North/Arena District

with a 30-minute frequency on Friday and

Saturday nights, 8 p.m.-3 a.m. The last pickup

from downtown is at 2:40 a.m., at Nationwide

Boulevard and Front Street. Remember to bring

your valid Buck-ID for a ride.

For a complete list of stops, visit www.cota.com.

To avoid holiday traffic and parking, ride

Express route #52 from campus to Port

Columbus International Airport during OSU

holidays and breaks. COTA’s seasonal airport

service is fast and drops you off right outside

the terminal, so plan your trip using Google’s

Trip Planner and search www.cota.com to find

a #52 bus stop near you.

Route #21: Night Owl

Bike n’ Bus

COTA’s Bike ‘n Bus front-mounted bike racks,

available on all buses, combine the convenience of

riding the bus with the enjoyment of cycling. The bike

racks securely hold two bikes per rack and are

available to all COTA passengers on a first-come,

first-serve basis.

Directions:

1. To use the bike rack feature, signal the bus operator to

let him/her know that you would like to load your bike.

2. Walk in front of the stopped bus and squeeze the top

handle to release the rack.

3. Load your bike onto the rack closest to the bus.

4. Pull out and lift the support hook over the bike’s front

wheel.

5. Board the bus and inform the bus operator at which

stop you would like to depart.

6. When you reach your destination, remind the bus

operator that you need to remove your bike from the rack.

7. Once you have unloaded your bike and no other bikes

are on the rack, lift the empty rack back into its upright

position.

Be advised, bus operators cannot physically

assist Bike ‘n Bus passengers.

COTA & CABS

Frequency

Every 30 min.

Every 30 min.

Every 15 min.

Every 30 min.

What is the difference CABS is the

Campus Area Bus Service that runs throughout

campus. COTA transports you to popular

destinations throughout central Ohio.

Making the leap from CABS to COTA to get OFF and

ON campus is simple! Here’s how:

1 Decide where you want to go off-campus and

figure out the COTA route number that takes you

there. (For example, route #2 takes you to the Arena

District).

2 Next, find a transfer point that serves that route by

looking at the map in this brochure. Verify COTA

service is available at the time you want to travel by

going online to www.cota.com or calling

614-228-1776.

3 Now, whenever you are on-campus and need to

go off-campus, simply board a CABS bus and exit at

your transfer point. For the most up-to-date

information regarding CABS routes, visit

http://www.tp.ohio-state.edu/CABS/.

If you have any questions about your route or how to go to a specific

location, call 614-228-1776 or use Google Trip Planner at www.cota.com!
