The Global Leadership Summit is Meridian’s biannual forum which examines the current landscape of global leadership. In conjunction with Gallup’s research

and data measuring perceptions of leadership and citizen wellbeing from 160 countries, the Summit highlights key factors and issues that policy makers and

thought leaders must understand in order to better address challenges and opportunities within their countries, as well as those of the global community

as a whole.

Established in 1960 and headquartered in Washington, DC, Meridian International Center is a nonpartisan,

not-for-profit institution dedicated to strengthening international understanding

through the exchange of ideas, people, and culture.

Meridian has been a trusted partner of the U.S. Department of State and embassies worldwide for

more than 50 years, implementing public and cultural diplomacy programs. Through global

leadership exchanges, cultural exhibitions, conferences, and seminars, the Center fosters

collaboration between U.S. and international leaders. It also provides a neutral convening

platform for the public, private, and diplomatic sectors in Washington.

Meridian is supported by public grants, as well as corporate, foundation, and individual donations.

It occupies a four-acre campus that includes the historic Meridian and White-Meyer Houses, both

of which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the District of Columbia’s

Inventory of Historic Sites.

MERIDIAN INTERNATIONAL CENTER IS A 501(c)(3) ORGANIZATION.

PROCEEDS FROM THIS YEAR’S BALL AND SUMMIT WILL SUPPORT MERIDIAN’S GLOBAL LEADERSHIP EXCHANGES,

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES, AND SEMINARS.
