Our vaccination centre is a busy centre approved<br />
and lincesed by the government of kenya in 2009.<br />
We offer travel vaccines of different age groups<br />
which are as follows;<br />
Yellow fever vaccine<br />
Oral Polio<br />
Hepatitis B vaccine<br />
Hepatitis A and B<br />
[Twinrix]<br />
Flu vaccine [Vaxigrip]<br />
Pneumonia [Pneumo 23]<br />
Cervical cancer [Cervarix]<br />
Meningitis vaccine<br />
Typhoid vaccine<br />
Given from age 9 months and above<br />
One dose given valid for 10 years<br />
For children and adults who<br />
wish to travel to India<br />
Given 6weeks before travel & it’s<br />
valid for one year only<br />
For young people given from 16 years.<br />
Given at first encounter , after<br />
1 month and after 6 months as a<br />
standard schedule<br />
For adults<br />
Given at 0, 1month, 6months<br />
For adults given at 0 & after 1 month<br />
as standard schedule<br />
For babies given at 6 and 7 months<br />
For adults, 1 dose given for life<br />
For children given at 6 weeks 10 weeks<br />
and 14 weeks and a booster at 15 or<br />
18 months. Can also be given at 7<br />
months to 5 years 2 doses 1 month<br />
apart.<br />
Given from ages 9-55 years<br />
Given at 0, 1month, 6months<br />
Given to adults who are traveling and<br />
can also be given to children from 2<br />
years of age.<br />
Given from 2 years of age. 1 dose<br />
given with no booster required
NB: AN INTERNATIONAL VACCINE CARD IS AVAILABLE FOR THOSE<br />
WITHOUT<br />
We also run a well-baby clinic on<br />
Thursdays [8.00am to 1.00pm]<br />
run by an experienced team of nurses and a pediatrician is available.<br />
Health Education about the babies and Postnatal period is given.<br />
Immunizations available are;<br />
K.E.P.I Vaccines - 6 weeks to 5 years<br />
[Pentavalent, Pneumonia, Polio, Rotarix and Rotateq]<br />
In addition to this, we also offer baby friendly vaccines which have<br />
fewer side effects and these are;<br />
[Infanrix hexa, Prevenur 13]<br />
In addition to this, we do growth and monitoring of the baby up to<br />
5years, advice and educate accordingly.<br />
