Marion County Sheriff’s Office

Annual SWAT Obstacle Course

Competition

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office hosted

the first regional Bad to the Bone SWAT

Obstacle Course Competition in 2008. The meet

was such a success, it has become an annual

event. Each year in October, SWAT teams and

other members of Florida law enforcement

agencies are invited to be a part of this skill

building and training exercise.

Participating agencies will enjoy great

competition & enthusiastic hospitality. The

event will be a great opportunity to build team

cohesion and assess qualifying times to gauge

team progress in

preparation for the

Annual Orlando SWAT

Round-up competition.

The event is free to

participants, friends and

family who wish to

attend and support their

loved ones.
