LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is a FREE 12-week group training program designed

for cancer survivors. The program includes cardiovascular exercise, strength

training, flexibility training, and balance. Participants receive one-on-one

attention in a group setting, which creates a safe and comfortable workout

environment.

Days and times are TBA - FREE to members and the general public + FREE family

membership while participating in the program!

MILLS barbell class that will sculpt,

Cardio Variety utilizes hand held

body into shape! This class includes

cardio, weights, & core strengthening,

Floorwork get down on the floor and

polish your muscles with changing

Group Cycle is an aerobic/anaerobic

workout on a stationary bike designed

Mix Moves gets you moving with energizing

Mystery Class is an aerobic/anaerobic

workout using steps, hi/low impact,

kickboxing, tubing, conditioning and

more, designed for all fitness levels.

A great hour of mystery activity!

T.N.T is a dynamite aerobic/anaerobic

tummy and tush workout using steps,

hand held weights, tubing, and stability

ball. Use your core like never before!

Yoga is inspiring, energizing and

calming. Breathing and relaxation

exercise techniques form a complete

mind and body workout.

Zip Cardio 45 minutes of non-stop

power packed sweaty cardio training.

This class consists of cardio drills with

aerobic step.

Zumba ® Fitness uses exotic rhythms

set to high-energy Latin and

international beats.

Aqua Active increases your stamina,

equipment. You must be comfortable

in deep water using a buoyancy device.

Polliwog (6 years and up)

This is the beginning level for schoolage

children to develop independence

in the water. Children are introduced to

floating, kicking and basic strokes. They

can swim 25 yards with assistance by

the end of this level.

Guppy (6 years and up)

Children extend their strokes to the

front crawl, back crawl, and breast

At this intermediate level, swimmers

The YMCA’s licensed centers use The Creative Curriculum Gold, which is based on the latest research that shows that

birth to 5 years are the most developmental years of your child’s life. Your child’s physical, social/emotional, cognitive

Youth Fitness Training

(10-14 years)

For youth members who are interested

in keeping themselves fit and healthy by

using equipment on the wellness floor.

Participants will learn safety and proper

technique of all wellness floor equipment,

including free weights, as well as

discussion of character development,

weight room etiquette, basic nutrition

and anatomy. Parents do not need to

be present for class.

2nd and 3rd Monday of the month
