Once there was a baker<br />
And one day<br />
he made some<br />
Chocolate chip<br />

<strong>The</strong> cookies were all SOLD<br />
And EATEN....<br />
All except for ONE
Now, the cookie was left<br />
ALL ALONE<br />
He wanted a FRIEND,<br />
Someone to keep him<br />
COMPANY....
He made himself a ROPE<br />
And went out to<br />
and HOOK<br />

WANDERED along,<br />
Until he found the<br />
Baker’s EASTER<br />
display at the<br />
WINDOW
He yelled!<br />
‘Can I join in?<br />
What are you<br />
doing?<br />
Can I help?<br />
It looks like<br />
FUN!!!!
‘Go away!’<br />
Said the Easter Bunny<br />
‘You’re FAR too<br />
HYPER<br />
and<br />
US!!’<br />
JUMPY for<br />
So the cookie went to look for some<br />
other friends.
<strong>The</strong> cookie had found<br />
a BIRTHDAY CAKE,<br />
<strong>The</strong> cake was HAPPY to be<br />
Friends with the<br />
<strong>Cookie</strong>... until....
‘OH NO’<br />
Said the birthday cake,<br />
‘you blew my CANDLE<br />
out, i’m not a proper<br />
CAKE anymore!’<br />
<strong>The</strong> cookie felt very upset,<br />
and went to look for<br />
another friend
<strong>The</strong> cookie WANDERED<br />
around for what<br />
seemed like AGES.<br />
<strong>The</strong> nights got COLDER<br />
and LONGER....<br />
And the cookie felt<br />
MORE and MORE<br />
alone...<br />
Until ONE day<br />
he came across the<br />
CHRISTMAS display<br />
At the WINDOW...
<strong>The</strong> cookie found an<br />
ANGEL<br />
‘I am sorry’ she said,<br />
‘<strong>The</strong> only cookies we<br />
Have here are<br />
GINGERBREAD men’
<strong>The</strong> cookie was upset...<br />
He wandered around,<br />
all alone, without a friend,<br />
Feeling LOST
He was so SAD<br />
He didn’t notice the<br />
BAKER’S CAT<br />
Creeping up behind him<br />
Until it was TOO LATE
<strong>The</strong> Baker’s cat had<br />
CAUGHT him!<br />
<strong>Cookie</strong>s were one of the cat’s<br />
FAVOURITE things to EAT..<br />
Just when the cat was<br />
about to take a BIG BITE...
‘HEEERRRREEE KITTY!!’<br />
<strong>The</strong> baker yelled,<br />
‘I have your FAVOURITE<br />
Cat food here!’<br />
‘Put that cookie down<br />
And come and have some of<br />
THIS instead!’
<strong>The</strong> BAKER picked<br />
the cookie up, and<br />
<strong>The</strong> cookie told the baker<br />
EVERYTHING!<br />
‘All I want to do is have a<br />
Friend, and<br />
Be displayed in the<br />
Window!’
‘Well...’<br />
said the baker,<br />
‘I think we can sort<br />
that out for you!’
So they MEASURED
And BAKED
And MIXED
AND ICED<br />
Until..
<strong>The</strong> cookie<br />
got to be in the<br />
WINDOW<br />
DISPLAY!<br />
He was SO happy!<br />
All he needed now<br />
was a FRIEND...
That was when<br />
the BAKER<br />
made some<br />
