Speakers’ Bureau
The Because I am a Girl campaign is working to make the situations of girls around the
world better by getting governments and communities interested and involved in girls’
rights.
Girls: Your life stories are powerful ways to connect with audiences, break down
divisions and reach other girls in Canada, getting them interested and involved too.
Why Take Part? As part of the Girls’ Speakers Bureau, you will be involved in an
international effort to change the lives of girls around the world. You will receive training
in public speaking and use that training to speak at events and in schools with Plan
across Canada! By being part of the Girls’ Speaker’s Bureau, you’ll become a
spokesperson about girls’ issues.
