<strong>Motor</strong> <strong>Shuttle</strong><br />

Significant abilities as a specialist vehicle transporter are well recognised and as a result <strong>Motor</strong> <strong>Shuttle</strong> has become popular for all forms of prestige vehicle movement. Although the basic<br />

concept of high quality in every aspect of construction and design has remained unaltered since the first <strong>Motor</strong> <strong>Shuttle</strong> produced in 1995 there have been several significant advances made<br />

since.<br />

In 2011 we announce a major new phase in development of the <strong>Motor</strong> <strong>Shuttle</strong> product featuring a new loading system, additional side door features and continuing efforts in weight<br />

reduction looking to achieve the overall objective of fuel conservation and hence to lower running costs. The <strong>Motor</strong> <strong>Shuttle</strong> is the lowest cost option in the market when considering<br />

running costs and depreciation. Evolution of these ideas is always taking shape to meet the challenges of the present and future.<br />

Features of operation:<br />

Loading.<br />

A hydraulic pump / ram operated tilt-bed with a large secure clamp for travel plus gas-spring assisted tail ramp door combine to<br />

provide a super-low loading angle arrangement, all achieved with the minimum of effort. The rear door is white aluminium lined<br />

to the rear providing an aesthetically pleasing and durable finish. Security is achieved using the closing & locking system developed<br />

for the Race <strong>Shuttle</strong> RS5. This is unique mechanism is proven to provide high clamp forces, preventing movement during<br />

travel, important as experience suggests this is extremely critical to durability on long distance trailers.<br />

Access.<br />

Entry to attend to vehicle tie-down activity is via two forward access-hatch doors. Each has stainless steel hinges, latches and<br />

fasteners. The main side door layout is dependant on the model chosen. Top specification 370-0301 models feature a pair of twin<br />

side doors. The combined aperture is 2.03m wide and provides plenty of scope for vehicles doors to open unhindered. All doors on<br />

<strong>Motor</strong> <strong>Shuttle</strong> are independently locked.<br />

Towing.<br />

Brian James Trailers have used all 33 years of experience in the business to great effect in specifying and arranging the running<br />

gear on <strong>Motor</strong> <strong>Shuttle</strong>. Owners have a choice of a conventional twin axle set up or the highly popular tri-axle configuration.<br />

Each is capable of serving for hundreds of thousands of trouble free miles. <strong>Motor</strong> <strong>Shuttle</strong> has always been a favourite among<br />

professional transport operators and we build to meet this standard.<br />
