Luxury seekers are spoiled enough at Club Med’s 4-Trident
Kani resort in the Maldives, where the island’s pure white
sandy beaches and magnificent blue Indian Ocean setting
greet guests. But now the discerning few can relax in complete
privacy at the new 5-Trident luxury space, Manta Lounge.
Located on the island of Kanifinholu, 20 kilometres away
from the capital of Male, the resort is just a stunning 25-minute
speedboat ride away.
Designed to take guest pampering to a whole new level as an
exclusive paradise within a paradise, the resort’s newly opened
5-Trident luxury space – exclusively available for guests staying
at lagoon suites – is Club Med’s first in Asia Pacific and one of
only four in the world. Designed by architect Philippe Villeroux,
the space offers guests their own exclusive area by the sea in
this private slice of heaven. The spectacular Manta Lounge is
decorated with timber and glass roof overhangs, and the circular
setting is blessed with stunning lagoon views all around.
Guests are never far from the island’s majestic beauty as
plush daybeds right above the clear waters are an irresistible
invitation, or they can wonder at the underwater marvels from the
comfortable catamaran nettings. A fully stocked bar offering free
flowing champagne nightly from 6pm, library, free WiFi access
and concierge service dedicated to priority spa and restaurant
reservations, tailored excursions and more ensure every guest
desire is catered for.
Best of all, the 75 breathtaking lagoon suites rest above the
water on stilts and offer unobstructed ocean views. This unique
accommodation allows breakfast to be delivered to the doorstep,
after which guests can just dive straight into the clear crisp waters
of the lagoon from the suite’s private terrace to experience a
huge variety of corals and sea life, including sharks, stingrays and
manta rays. To get a bird’s eye view of the tropical paradise,

Infants aged from four to 23 months are welcomed at Baby
Club, which features qualified babycare specialists and activities
designed exclusively for babies. With interiors reflecting Thai
culture and a world of fantasy and adventure, Baby Club is a mini
resort within a resort that offers a unique holiday for babies, while

On arrival, babies and toddlers enter the Baby Club through
a long walkway leading them into a wondrous elephant
jungle palace. Inside the play area there is a fun depiction of
a storybook on the walls with a blue pagoda bookshelf. The

and toddlers to sleep in the Nap Room. Our young guests enjoy
