Eastside Cottages is nestled in the heart
of the picturesque Pentland Hills. These
hills form an idyllic Regional Park noted
for its natural beauty. Sheep have been
farmed on these hills for generations
by the Cowan family who still live here
today.
The three cottages have been sensitively
converted from the original 18th Century
stone farm buildings. They enclose the
main farmyard and each has its own
private entrance and garden.
The cottages are extremely comfortable
with luxurious modern conveniences to
allow you to enjoy the countryside in
cosy splendour.
Despite being surrounded by thousands
of acres of pristine hill walking country,
truly spectacular scenery and the
workings of a genuine sheep farm,
Eastside Cottages is only 10 miles from
Edinburgh city centre.
The cottages sleep between 2 and six
people so there should be a one to suit
everybody. Whether you’d like to relax
in the tranquillity of the hills or use the
cottage as a base to explore Edinburgh -
Eastside will feel like a home away from
home.
