The Optrel p500 series is a new range of optoelectronic helmets for
professional and occasional welders, combining safe protection, comfort,
quality and design.
A new concept!
With the new helmets in the professional range, welders will be able to customise
their welding helmet for personalised protection. All Optrel p500 helmets are delivered
with one pair of side covers, that are exchangeable and replaceable. Sperian Protection
can supply a collection of side covers to personalise your helmet!
New helmet shell design
Modern and attractive, ergonomic and lightweight, the helmet shell of the
Optrel p500-series has been developed to fulfil the highest requirements in terms of
comfort. Additionally, it offers the many advantages of the well known Optrel
headband. The headband and the shell design optimise weight distribution
to eliminate neck strain for the welder.
Features and benefits
The sensitivity of the autodarkening filter can be adjusted to the welding process and also to suit working
conditions.
Optimised cover lens for perfect protection against spatters and fumes.
Delay switch controls the speed of the transition from dark to light state after welding.
Thanks to the enlarged LCD, the Optrel p500-series offers a comfortable viewing area.
Due to improved technologies and optimised production methods, the Optrel p500 is very comfortable.
Together with the optimised weight distribution of the helmet and the comfortable, adjustable headband, this
makes the helmet unrivalled in terms of wearing comfort.
