Quotations for old & condemned/unserviceable articles-disposal of
Sir,
This Ministry intends to dispose of stock of the items (list attached) of old &
condemned/unserviceable articles by way of open quotations from interested parties.
2. You are requested to submit your quotations for these items along with a demand
draft of Rs. 1000 /-, as earnest money, drawn in favour of D.D.O., Ministry of Textiles,
latest by 17 th July, 2009 by 3.00 PM in sealed cover addressed to the undersigned i.e.,
Under Secretary(Genl. Admn.), Ministry of Textiles, Room No. 54, Udyog Bhawan, New
Delhi-11. The rates must be quoted as lump-sum basis for total items. Rates quoted for
partly items will not be accepted. The interested parties may contact for inspection of
the items on all working days upto 16 th July, 2009 between 3.00 PM and 4.00 PM.
3. The Quotations will be opened in the presence of the bidders on 17 th July , 2009 at
3.15 PM in room no. 54, Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi. The bidder will be selected on the
basis of the highest bid. The successful bidder will be required to deposit the money in
cash or submit a demand draft in favour of the D.D.O., Ministry of Textiles . The
material must be taken out immediately within a week.
4. The Ministry reserves the right of rejecting the any or all quotations without
assigning any reason thereof at any time. The demand draft(earnest money) will be
returned to the unsuccessful bidders immediately after finalization of proceedings. In the
event of any successful bidder failing to submit the demand draft for the entire amount of
the articles as mentioned at para 3 above, the earnest money deposit of Rs. 1000/- will
stand forfeited.
